Gambling Guinea’s MLB Slate- 6/21:
Laid low this weekend. Still enjoyed a strong 6-3 total last week, so we will be continuing to scout for the best daily plays the MLB has to offer. Onward!
Braves+Mets F1 U0.5 Runs -136 (DK):
Guess what day it is?!? DeGrom day! Hopefully, bettors capitalized on one of the best bets in baseball last week when Degrom took the mound. Taking advantage of one of the highest percentage plays is on the menu once more.
The write up last week will follow the same trend. After another scoreless first inning between the Cubs and Mets last week, Degoat toes the rubber today against a dangerous Braves lineup in hopes of adding to the staggering trend of no runs in the first inning. Now 10-1 in 2021 and 18-5 in his last 23 starts dating back to 2020, there is no reason to start fading a couple of goose eggs in the first frame this evening.
Oh by the way, the Braves have only scored once in their last 5 contests. At this salivating value, it is once again too good to not hammer.
Astros F5 -0.5 -118 (FD):
The red hot Houston Astros capped off a 4-game sweep against the Chicago White Sox where they outscored them 27-8. Traveling to Baltimore to square off against the hapless Orioles almost seems like a gimmie, no?
Houston remains one of the MLB’s best first half teams at 41-20-10 this season, while their opponent stands at an unimpressive 23-35-13. Regardless of today’s matchup between 2 starters and their plus 5.00 ERA’s, it’s yet again most likely coming down to the better offense. With the Astros +112 season run differential, this is another play that should not require much thought.
Given the fact of how torrid the Astros offense these days combined with the laughable value, it should be standard operating procedure for H Town to win the first half of today’s contest by more than one run.
